Italian Vegetable Soup

2 cans beef broth
2 cans water
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce
1/2 onion, diced
1 green pepper, sliced
2 potatoes, chunked
1 zucchini, sliced
1 package turkey Italian sausage
1 t basil
1 t oregano
1/2 t black pepper and salt to taste
1/2 t cayenne pepper
1 pkg tortellini pasta


Remove sausage from casing (if there is some) and brown in skillet.  Set aside.  Heat the beef broth, two cans of water, tomatoes and tomato sauce.  Add spices, meat, and veggies and cook to almost tender.  Add tortellini and cook just till done.  If too thick, can add can of beef broth.
