Swedish Meatballs
Roll them gently in skillet using a swirling motion so they retain their shape while frying.
Meatballs: 1 lb. hamburger, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/4 tsp. ground allspice, 1/4 cup milk, 1 egg, 3 slices dry bread, crusts removed.
Put milk, egg, onion, salt, pepper, allspice and brokenbread into blender and blend at medium speed for 2 minutes. Combine mixture with meat, and shape into small balls.

Original Sauce (can substitute with spaghetti sauce or serve with just melted butter): 2 T. meat drippings, 2 T flour, cups water or milk or half of each. Salt to taste.

Great way to add calcium and protein to your side salad!
Salad: 1 3-ounce package lemon flavored gelatin, 1 cup boiling water, 2 T lemon juice, 1 teaspoon grated onion, 1 cup cream style cottage cheese drained, 1 cup finely chopped cucumber.
Dissolve gelatin in water. Add juice and onion. Chill till partially set. Beat till light and fluffy. Fold in cheese and cucumber. Pour into individual molds; chill till firm.
Serves 6.
